We support international businesses in reducing their tax burdens and optimising their cash flow.

• Optimisation of deductible VAT in France
The Opportunity
As part of our knowledge-sharing approach, we are offering a 1 to 2-month internship, ideally between March and June 2026.
This internship is unpaid (duration below the statutory threshold for mandatory remuneration in France).
It is designed for a student wishing to gain practical insight into international VAT processes within a specialised advisory firm.
You will work directly with the firm’s founder and contribute to real client files.
Your Responsibilities
Following an initial training period, you will assist the firm’s VAT specialist in preparing and submitting foreign VAT refund claims on behalf of our clients.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing supplier invoices and expense claims
• Identifying supporting documents eligible for VAT recovery
• Accounting data entry
• Written communication with suppliers to request invoice corrections
• Completion of international VAT refund forms
• Preparation and compilation of VAT reclaim files
• Monitoring claims with foreign tax authorities
You may also provide occasional support with routine accounting tasks (data entry and monthly French VAT returns – CA3).

This is a hands-on internship with progressive autonomy.
Your Profile
We are looking for a serious, curious and detail-oriented individual eager to develop skills in taxation and accounting.
Ideal profile:
• Student in Finance, Accounting or Business Taxation (BTS, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
• Strong interest in corporate taxation
• Working written French (ability to read and draft simple professional emails)
• Basic proficiency in Excel
• Organised, accurate and self-motivated
• Previous accounting experience would be an advantage
Working Arrangement
• 35 hours per week: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm / 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• Hybrid organisation: office presence and remote work (minimum one day per week in the office)
• 50% contribution towards public transport subscription
